The aim of “Apps Challenge-Tirana” is to engage young people up to the age of 25 who are at the beginning of their professional career, pursuing or have no more than two years of studies left during their Bachelor, Professional Master or Master of Science degrees in these fields: computer science, information and communication technology, business informatics, mathematical and computer engineering, or similar engagements in Public or private Higher Education Institutions, inside or outside the country. The selected youngsters will engage in practice and will gain a work experience of 4 months in the Municipality of Tirana.
To complete the internship, 12 young winners will be selected through a competition procedure. After the selection, they will work in 3 (three) Work Teams, to create 3 applications. By cooperating closely with the staff of the General Directorate of Information Technology and Data at the Municipality of Tirana, they will carry out and complete the 4-month internship.
The objective of the call for the presentation of the concept-idea for mobile application, is to enable a transparent process for the selection of the 12 most talented young people who will be engaged in internships over a period of 4 months, working closely with the staff of the Municipality Tirana, to submit a mobile application which will be placed in the respective App store for Android and IOS devices.
