While hundreds of young people are applying to be part of Tirana EYC2022 projects, the Municipality of Tirana continues with meetings with actors of the ecosystem of startups, technology, tourism, entrepreneurship, innovation, etc.
“Innovation and Tourism” was the topic of the next meeting between students, startups and entrepreneurs in the field of technology and tourism, which was held at the Tumo Center. During this meeting, Erisa Muzhaqi part of the Innovation Directorate and Ketrina Jarazi, Director of Tourism at the Municipality of Tirana, presented to the young people a series of initiatives already undertaken to help and promote the ecosystem in the capital.
Ketrina said that “Every startup or young person operating in the field of tourism, who will apply to be part of the Tirana EYC2022 projects, will be offered all the necessary assistance for the successful passage of each application phase”.
Young people representing new startups or already successful enterprises expressed all their suggestions for innovative projects and ideas for bringing Tirana closer to a city with a European identity.
During the conversation with the young people, the representatives of the Municipality of Tirana underlined the fact that the cooperation between the local government and the enthusiastic young people of the ecosystem is essential for the construction of a European city.
One of the most important points of the meeting was the presentation of the platform “Digital Tirana”, a platform built by the General Directorate of Information Technology, Innovation and Data, which focuses on the dynamics of the ecosystem of entrepreneurship and innovation.
This platform, which will soon be launched to the public, attracted the attention of all participants. Young people highly appreciated the innovations of this platform, from comprehensive information on the ecosystem and startups, to the space dedicated to digital nomads.
